Reasons for nominating:
Denise deserves to be nominated for MSOY because she serves her military community selflessly, even in the face of adversity and personal health trials. Whether Denise is volunteering her time as the Fort Jackson PWOC president, picking up and delivering Starbucks donations for soldiers, or making copies at the chapel for the chaplaincy, no job is below her level of service to the Army community she makes stronger. She shines her love for Jesus, coffee, and all things that glitter, every day she helps out fellow Army families, making meals, organizing events, and praying over families in crisis. This past year, Denise has faced a cancer diagnosis in the eye and has told it who is boss and that her God is bigger and able to get her through it. She has navigated the trying waters of so much more that she can share, glittering all the way, and while also keeping it real. Denise is a princess warrior of the highest degree and would be a wonderful MSOY! -- Rachel Wentling , Friend
